This truly has been one of the most pleasurable and rewarding events I had the privilege of covering!
From the Osborne’s to Paris Hilton, Tommy Hilfiger to Robert Herjavec.
What was so powerful to me was experiencing the celebrity community coming together with such passion, utilizing their voices to inspire others to support the cause. Paris Hilton and her mother, Kathy Hilton, were engaging and oh so elegant, on the red carpet. The beautiful Dee Ocleppo, Tommy Hilfiger’s wife, was very kind and took a lot of time answering all of the press questions. She was very down to earth and approachable. I had a blast with my colleague Sandy Abrams trying out the tweet mirror!
The crowd was so diverse, which I loved demonstrating the power of like minds! Tommy Hilfiger was honored for his work and dedication for Erase MS. Davis expressed that Hilfiger was the perfect honoree this year because he’s been an intricate part of her annual event since it first started. Hilfiger’s son, Richard, and daughter, Ally Hilfiger, presented the Medal of Hope to the fashion designer who addressed his personal connection to the disease.
“I accept this award on behalf of my sister who has had MS for over 25 years," said Hilfiger. "She’s in a wheelchair. She is great in spirit but she suffers and watched this over the years.”
