For over 15 years, I’ve created a New Year’s vision board, inspired by “Joy of the Ritual.”⁣
⁣
I am in awe of the changes and transitions in my life, and the board serves as a holistic tool for my evolution and elevation. Through using this practice, I have attracted once-in-a-lifetime opportunities( over and over), experienced serendipitous moments, and found prosperity. As a result, my dreams have become reality.⁣
⁣
Create your board in the first week of January to set the tone for the year. ⁣
⁣
Step 1: Find a comfortable space, play inspiring music, and wash your hands with herbs to symbolize the fresh opportunity of the new year. ⁣
⁣
Step 2: Gather your materials, such as magazines, scissors, glue, and a board. Reflect on your intentions and goals for the coming year. Cut out images, words, or symbols that resonate with your aspirations. Arrange and glue the images onto your board, letting your intuition guide the layout. ⁣
⁣
Step 3: Take a moment to sit with your board, acknowledge what you have created, and visualize these intentions unfolding in your life. ⁣
⁣
Step 4: End your session by eating a piece of chocolate to symbolize the sweetness of the year ahead.⁣
⁣
You can place your vision board in a visible location to keep your goals and aspirations top of mind throughout the year. ⁣

It has been a lifelong goal to give back to the school that forever changed my life and work ethic and encouraged my vision to dream. ⁣

It may be a brick, but to me, it is an honor to my family’s legacy and to my grandfather and family, who guided and encouraged my years and lifelong love for NYC.⁣

22 years ago, what started as a vision during one of the hardest seasons of my life has grown into something I could only dream of. After being bedridden for a year, holistic modalities changed my life and inspired me to create a business that allowed me to be home with my baby, Arden (now 21!).

Today, I’m proud to celebrate not only 22 years as an ACE Certified Personal Trainer, but also a new milestone: earning the world’s first Mental Wellbeing for Fitness Professionals certification from the John W. Brick Mental Health Foundation!

Fit Your Style has always been about more than fitness. It’s about defining YOUR path, YOUR way, and integrating wellbeing into every part of life: movement, mindfulness, nutrition, connection, and style.
